Passages like Malibu Rapids, Skookumchuck Narrows, and Surge Narrows reach up to 10 knots. Always calculate slack water times before entering.
⚓ Granite Stern Ties
BC fjords plunge hundreds of metres deep right up to the shoreline. Anchor your bow in shallow water and run a floating stern line to shore-mounted steel ring pins.

Saltwater island parks have zero freshwater taps. Pack at least 4 litres of potable water per person per day in secure jerry cans or dromedary bags.
